After photographing hundreds of people over the years, I’ve learned that the best photos come when there’s a genuine connection. That’s why every senior session starts with a conversation. I want to hear about you—your interests, your style, what you’re excited for after graduation, and what kind of vibe you’re dreaming of for your shoot.
We’ll chat about the details, go over location ideas, talk through outfits, and answer any questions you (or your parents!) might have. It’s all about making sure this experience feels comfortable, fun, and totally you from start to finish.

One of the best parts about senior portraits is how customizable they are. Want golden hour glow? Urban vibes? Spring blooms? We’ll plan around the look and feel that fits you.
There’s no “right” time to schedule your session—some seniors book the summer before senior year, others wait until spring. It really depends on your schedule and what season speaks to your style. No matter when we shoot, the goal is always the same: to capture this season of life in a way that feels personal and effortless.
Your Session, Your Style
A few weeks before your session, I’ll send over a short questionnaire to learn more about you—your style, favorite outfits, locations you love, and anything you’d like me to know before we shoot.
This helps me plan a session that feels true to you, and gives you a chance to feel fully prepared. Of course, if you have questions at any point (or want help figuring out what to wear), I’m always just an email away.
Prepping for Your Session
It’s session day! Time to relax, have fun, and celebrate everything that makes this season so special.
I’ll guide you through everything so you don’t have to worry about what to do with your hands or how to pose. Whether you’re going for laid-back and natural or something a little more styled, I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.
The Big Day
Your fully edited gallery will be delivered within about three weeks of your session through a private online link. From there, you’ll be able to download your images, share them with friends and family, and order prints or products if you’d like.
And just because your session is over doesn’t mean our relationship has to be. I love staying in touch and being part of more milestones down the road—whether that’s graduation announcements, college send-offs, or future family portraits.

MORE DETAILS
One of the best ways to remember this season is with a custom-designed album. These high-quality albums come in your choice of beautiful linen or leather covers and are made to last for years to come. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat, and look amazing on a coffee table—or tucked away as a keepsake you can flip through for years.
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take about 4–6 weeks to complete. Each one includes three rounds of revisions so we can make sure it’s exactly how you want it. Albums can be ordered before or after your session—whenever you’re ready to preserve your favorite memories in print.

Fantastic! To reserve your date, I'll need a completed contract and a 35% non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I'll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 3 days before your session.

For senior sessions, the number of photos depends on the collection you choose—anywhere from 5 to 25 fully edited images. All collections include high-resolution downloads and a print release, so you can print your photos anywhere you’d like.
How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?
Travel fees may apply for senior sessions outside a 20-mile radius from Louisville, KY. The exact fee depends on the location, so just reach out if you’re planning a session a bit farther away.
